How do I change the air filter on my 95 XJS 4.0L. I think it is a round canister.

It's pretty straight forward. Unclamp the air ram tube, unclamp the hose connecting the air mass meter, undo the two nuts (I swapped 'em for wing nuts) attaching the filter housing to the fender and remove the filter housing. The end of the filter housing is held on with 3 spring clamps and that pops right off.
