I bought this car in November 2001. Since I've had it, the car has won First Junior in the AACA, second in the Driven Division of JCNA, and several other trophies in smaller clubs including Best Jaguar of Show in the 2002 Meeting of the Marques held at the Allenbery Playhouse in Boiling Springs, PA. Anyone from central Pennsylvania reading this should try to get to this show, held each year in September, to see a great variety of classic British cars.
The previous owner of the car was Mr. Jerry Neil of Tulsa OK. I understand that Mr. Neil was quite active in the Tulsa Jaguar club and this car was very successful in the Concurs Division back in the 1980's. I would be happy to hear from anyone who remembers Mr. Neil and the car from Oklahoma.
This has been the best collectable car I have ever owned. I have never had a mechanical failure and it is a blast to drive.
