Though not a Jaguar, this 1932 ford roadster with the 1940 Ford Flathead V8 in it is a piece of Jaguar history that is quite interesting. It is what we call a "Rat Rod" It was never finished to begin with. The boy who built it was from Tulsa, OK and at one time it was the fastest car in eastern OK, until one day it was beaten. The young man parked it following that loss and it stayed in a garage for the better part of 10 years, until he pulled it out and stuck the 40 Ford engine in it. Until 1954 it was the fastest car in Tulsa once again, until it went up against a 1954 Jaguar XK120. "The fastest car on the planet" the ads said, caused the "Tulsa Kid" to park it once again. The present owner bought the car from the Tulsa Kid just before he died. Plans are to do nothing with the car except run it and show it as a piece of American Hot Rod History.
