I'm looking at an XJS convert. that does not appear to be a Hess & Eisenhardt. It does not have the H&E script on the fender; it has a single gas tank and has cross bracing on the frame. The owner has a vast knowledge of Jag, as with other British Cars, and is not sure of its origin. I understand that Jag built a few of their own prototypes, is there any way to identify one? For anyone who might be interested, there is a true H&E convertible sitting on four flat tires in the Town of Apple Valley. I knocked on the door but got no answer.
My current Jag inventory is a 73 XJ6 and 65 3.8S.
Thanks for your help, Tom

you could at one time buy a kit to make your own CONVERTIBLE XJS, you could probably buy the Hes emblem also..Art
