Hi. I attemted to replace my electric aerial and blissfully pulled out the three wires from the socket/plug rather than remove the socket / plug with wires in situ. Now I have the problem of not knowing which wire goes into which place. Does anybody know the answer for me. Thank you. Michelle

1 wire should be Ground/Earth, usually Black, connects to antenna body or metal,
1 wire should be Positive/Hot/12 volts, usually Red, connects to antenna motor,
1 wire is a momentary 12 volt hot signal from stereo to go up or down, usually Blue, connects to small integrated circuit (chip) inside antenna.
you could test the wires in different positions with ignition switch ON, stereo ON, the worse that can happen is that the Fuse blows, or that the antenna integrated circuit burns (!) or that nothing happens, (no antenna movement) so get some spare fuses in advance and find out where the fuse is in advance to be able to check it and/or replace it.
Otherwise, the easiest way to do it is to find someone with a similar car, to copy the wire positions/orientation. Once you do find out where exactly the wires go in the plug, you need to remove the plug and the three Spade Terminals inside the plug, then solder or crimp the wires to each terminal again.
good luck!
