Does anyone know what needs to be fixed when the auto adjusting steering column telescopes automatically (as it is supposed to) but it will not tilt down. It feels like I am driving a truck and hope someone can help me troubleshoot this problem.

Tthe tilt and reach functions each have a motor and drive cable. Usually its the drive cable that fails.
Until recently you had to buy a motor and cable together but Coventry West (800 331 2193) now offers a cable separately.
A reasoanbly decent DIY guy can handle this job, although one motor (I can never remember if its the tilt or reach) is quite a bit easier to get to than the other
