Stew, before we get too carried away here, let's make sure this is not a soft fault, rather than a hard fault, like a switch failure for instance. Disconnect your battery for a while to let all the modules fully discharge, then cleanly reconnect the cable. Then reset your windows and clock etc.
To reset the windows, press a window button to fully raise the window, release the switch and press it again and hold for two seconds. Then lower the window and release the button, then press and hold for two seconds in that direction. Repeat for the other windows. At that point, the one-touch up function should work. Raise the glass and see if it will stay up as it should.
I'm thinking that might correct things. If it doesn't, it will have to be diagnosed to determine whether it's a switch fault or a module fault. Remember, there are two switches in play, so the driver door switch is a possible culprit, too.
