my "driver" purchase continues to be a journey in parts purchases rather than on the road....so i am searching for quick access to the two cables for this auto transmission for 68 e type 2+2,,,usually referred to as the kickdown cable and...most elusive...the gear selector or shifter cable. it is the latter which i am in dire need of.
alternatively...at the crossroads...where in ontario canada or michigan usa would one go to get a manual transmission put in? and what does this involve in process and cost...including the transmission..clutch housing pedal and pedal assembly etc? --thanks...downcast but not without hope
