I have been looking at exhaust systems to replace the existing one. Currently the tail pipes are cut at a 45 degree angle and chromed. I have seen only stainless systems available. In getting info on one system, the rep said that the tail pipes were polished stainless, not chrome plated-appears to be typical on stainless systems. I intend to show the car. Would the polished stainless be a deduction? Would someone be able to verify the 45 degree cut as original design (small drawings in parts and service manuals look like the 45 deg cut and mid 60s Mk 10s I have seen have same detail)

Much thanks to Scott and Linda Young of the Jaguar Club of Tulsa, who read my posting, and have provided me with mild steel components for my exhaust system! Thanks again!
