I spend 4 hours trying to replace the rear shocks. Iam not a dumb wench bender, but I have tried removing the rear seats and cannot find any shock tower to take the top retainer off. Otherwise they just slide out the bottem.

Help us out here, Dan. Which model Jaguar are you dealing with? (Seems likely that you are posting this question to the wrong forum, since it's not likely there ever was an XJ titled as a 1967.)

The shocks are bolted to the cage if it is an independent suspension,(coil
over springs).If it is a solid axle like a MK 2 then the top of the shock is in the trunk.If you have any further questions please ask.
