After trying to start when brought out of winter storage, could only get my underutilized baby (48K miles) to reluctantly run at about the speed of starter motor. Both banks are firing, the exhaust is clear, and it responds to ether (so I ruled out diistrbutor). It chokes the instatnt I try to move the accelerator. So far I've checked the fuel suppression tank (clean screen, no sediment at bottom- used baster to draw out all gas), replaced main fuel filter, replaced fuel pump. It runs with both the FP aux relay in or jumpered out (continuous pumping). Also replaced the two pressure regulators, and am getting a good stream of gas to rail (don't have a fuel gage w/ proper connector to measure).
Also replaced throttle pot. No effect when both opening and shunting the leads to ECU for solenoid vacuum valve & aux air valves. Car has no cold start injectors nor external manifold pressure sensor (that I could find).
Only other ideas I have are possible vermit chew of an ECU lead or ECU itself. Is there a cheap ECU analyzer available? Anyone have this problem? Kirby Palm's book has been a real godsend, since this is my first venture into jag fuel injection. Car never sees bad weather and has not been molested (I've not had to change anything since purchase 13 yrs age, second owner).
