I seem to have a warped rotor on the driver side.My question is has anyone done this? What kind of issues i may encounter, or any special tools needed? Secondly can someone recommend a brand for replacement. I plan on replcing the pair, but there are many to choose from. If I choose parts that are considered performance parts, IE specifications higher than the originals. Will that cause any issues? Many Thanks

Hi Art
It is indeed a v12. I just love the smoothness of the ride. It has 64000 miles. I check the coolant often and notice a few things that need attention. I baby the hell out of it, but that will change as I become more accustomed to it. But I want to give it the love it deserves. I need some suspension work up front. Its a little noisy on the drivers side. Partly in the brakes but I think some bushings or other parts are worn. New exaust. I am a bit worried about the cooling system. So I keep my eye on that. I think a new thermostat or thermostats. I would love to talk some time if you are serious in that offer. I have a 2002 avalanche that begrudginly gave up the garage; I told it I would sell it to someone in the snowbelt if it did not :)

Hi Michael,
the other two S' we have were saved by myself and my son Chase..... they were both in dire need of a good home........... we have owned our Silver S since our son was one year old. he is now almost twenty three and has his own daily driver , a 2002 X type ...very quick.......Jag.........
I imagine your car is a V12, if so make sure you faithfully check the coolant level at least once a week.................if you need any additional info . just call....604 465 7244.Art

Thanks Art for the confirmation. Yes, I have read the rears are quite a job. Are you recommending the silvers brakes? I have not seen those. But I will look. If I go this route will there be any braking issues with HP parts up front and stock in the rear? Also will i require any special Jaguar tools? Do you own 3 XJS's; that is so cool. I am new to this, but what an awesome ride!!! Thanks Much
