Can anyone recommend a reliable shop in hte Dallas/Fort Worth area where I can have the heat/AC examined and repaired? Systems to be barely cooling or heating. AAW 805 550 0255.

The best place to start is Jim House of Jim's Jag Shop 972-2475763 or www.jimsjagshop.com located on Goodnight just southwest of I-35E and 635. He knows about as much as anyone when it comes to XJS'. He has my 87 XJS right now. Unfortunately he lost his mechanic son to a heart attack recently and work is backed up. Tell Jim you were referred by me and ask him if he has an A/C shop to recommend. If that fails let me know,for other alternatives.
Also, if you join local club JOASW (.org) we have many XJS members who can suggest alternatives. Next dinner meeting is Jan 7th in Plano
