ABS Light

Being a novice on how the "Prince of Darkness" may operate, I need some input... just had the brakes done on my recently acquired nice, but high mileage XJS, all is good, but when under hard braking there is a brief flicker of the ABS dash light, doesn't stay on, but just flashes once. Should I be looking for something?
