ac fan running on high only

to mike frank thanks for the answere i can send you a wiring diagram the switch is a aftermarket one from welsch i checked the out put with an ohm meter and stupidly did not make a diagram of the switch. But when it is on high i get 10 volts to all the terminals at the resistor at low speed nothing to the resistor. XK unliminet has a great manual on the electric and breakes it down by circits.
