Has anyone developed a better gasket for the 3.8/4.2 liter cam covers, rather than the weak cardboard version that seems prone to leaking? I'm rebuilding my Srs.1 4.2 with the Sacramento Jaguar Club. They are proposing to use silicone in place of a new gasket, but I've heard horror stories of this breaking away and fouling oil passages.
Thanks,
Glynn.

Better cam cover gaskets for 6-cylinders?
Glynn:
Terry's sell a "Cometic" gasket that is supposed to seal better and can be reused. Avoid silicon gasket sealers.
Thanks Andrew - sounds perfect.
