I plan to install new outer sills on my 2+2, using plug welding teqniques.
Can anyone advise the hole size and plug spacing.

I started out hoping to only replace foot wells and outer sills but snowballed into floors and , inner and outer sills. I am using the original spot weld spacing. Rivet in place plug weld with 1/4 inch drilled holes and then go back and drill out the rivets and weld those. Finding good 30 yr old + floor pan metal to weld new outer sills may be a challenge.
