The "hidden gas tax" scheduled to hit California drivers on January 1, 2015 will result in approximately 18,000 job losses and $3 billion in reduced economic activity in the first year alone, according to a new economic analysis. There is also a one-in-five chance that job losses in the state could be as high as 66,000, and economic losses could skyrocket to $10.8 billion.
