Beautiful winter day out here in sunny san diego...haven't run my car since Thanksgiving but fired it up and it ran like a champ 10 miles up the coast...stopped to fill the tank and then a second stop to check air in tires...where I noticed I had a pretty significant gas leak. (it wasn't leaking earlier)

Quick check revealed fuel coming from the forward trumpet and I jumped in and made it home...thought maybe a stuck float, so I ran it pretty hard on the highway in....no change.

Just popped the air cleaner and also isolated the bad boy (front carb) and tested just to see if I might have too much pressure in the lines-ie, fuel pump...the rear carb when fed gas separately has no problems...so I suspect the front float/carb.

I've given the bowl a few raps but still leaking...

Thoughts on best approach from here very much appreciated...
