I need a y-pipe for my 1981 XJ-6... i need one with catalyc converter... i looked online like http://www.discount-jaguar-parts.com/ under catalyc converter but they don't show picture and just say intermediate. is that the one that i need so i can replace my y-pipe?
Or can i just get straight Y-pipe without converter and pass the emmision testhere in virginia?

Re.: catalyc converter...
sorry, the image won't load, too big. I'll reduce it and come back later
with a smaller one.

Re.: catalyc converter...
I uploaded image of the European Y pipe with Part numbers.
Some XJ cars pass without the Second, Y pipe catalytic, some don't, it depends on the emission limits in VA. Mine passed without any cats or dogs or any restrictions in the exhaust.
Note: the Company Double S in Canada sells a 3-piece Y pipe. Don't bother with it, it's only made in 3 pieces for their convenience and their arrogant attitude towards the USA makes it a worse deal, well, you do the math.
I got mine here in the USA and didn't have to deal with stiff upper lips
if you know what I mean.
