Hi, my name is Dave Turner and I just bought a 67 E-Type about 2 weeks ago. Never owned a Jag before but I have always loved the E-Types and don't know much about them...yet. I'm tearing the engine down now and I'm wonder about the color of the cylinder head. I've seen all different colors on ebay. What is the correct color for the cylinder head?

1967 was the change over year. The earlier 4.2 XKE's were gold but in late 1967, they switched to unpainted. The judging guide under the Concours section has much more information on this and other paint choices for under hood components.
