After struggling with parts suppliers to order the correct vacuum pipes, water pipes, then learn where they go presto . . . I found it. And as a bonus, the layout shows where everything goes on a typical E-Type firewall (special thanks to the unknown person who was kind enough to post it on the web). Very cool!
Be careful to check your firewall against the diagram for any variations. I did this and found that my 68 S1.5 needs two vacuum pipes. This came in handy when showing a couple of well known parts suppliers that I wasn't dreaming when I said I have two vacuum pipes. It took the last page of the attached document to finally get the correct parts and in their correct location.
By the way, I think that the hole in the firewall labeled as "???" is for the speedometer cable (I can't remember at the moment with certainty).
