New to this post and this is my first write up. I bought my 69 OTS a few months ago. The car had sat in a garage for most of the time since 92 when the previous owner acquired it. It was in a great original shape with some minor work needed. The radiator fans did not come on at all. I have got them to run now but not the way they are supposed to! I first replaced the Otter switch which was broken and confirmed that one of the two motors was shot and the other one had its fan touching the housing and unable to turn. All that is fixed now. The problem I have is that the fans only come on when I connect the test light to the black/Red wire that goes to the Otter switch. I also confirmed that the fans come on when I connect the ground wire ( the black one) to the black/red. I donÔÇÖt understand this one. I think I had confirmed that the Relay was working. Any ideas on what I should check next? Many Thanks
