Hi all,
I bought a used gear box for a 4.2. The gear shifter plate was removed by previous owner and for some reason removed some bits.
Don't ask me why!
I was able to find a replacement plate but what I gather from the serial number on the plate it is from a late Mk 2 or S type.
In all respects it looks identical to the gear shifter plate on my gear box.
Are they the same? Can the new one work on the 4.2 all synchro box.
