Parts arrived from England today and Peaches will be back on the road soon. Her next adventure will be the EURO 2005 Rally on Sunday October 16th. Can't wait to drive her!

I picked up Peaches on Thursday, with no oil stains on her seats. What a trip. Drove most of the way to Atlanta in the rain, encountering only two periods of congestion. It took almost four hours to get her back home(normally a 2.5 hour drive). If I had to drive in Atlanta traffic every day, they would have to shoot me! Got her out of the trailer last night, took her for a short spin, with a grin on my face the whole time, and put her in the garage. After a brief inspection I shared a warm tablespoon of Castrol HD30 with her, kissed her Leaper, and bid her good night. I swear I could hear a sigh from her as I closed the garage door. Either she was glad to be home or was grateful that I didn't abuse her on our little spin. Life is good, eh?

Dick,
Activating the AC on a Thirties vintage car is a bit more complicated than the modern cars. There are actually 8 AC controls on Peaches. There are two each on the upper front side of the front doors, one each on the upper front side of the rear doors, one in the upper middle of the dash, and one in the middle front of the headliner. I hope you didn't sweat on my leather! See you tomorrow afternoon.

Very good news, Mike!

Peaches is one of the most loveable cars I've ever met. And her owners are pretty nice, too! :-D She's lucky to have you.

I'll be seeing y'all soon, I hope.

Good for you Mike. I will hold on to the ring and pinion for the next adventure. George Camp

Art,
It was a pleasure meeting you and I hope that we will cross paths again. But it wasn't a shame that the old Gal laid down. I have no regrets. It was a fun weekend. And she will be back soon. Can't wait to DRIVE her.

Mike,
this is good news, it was a shame Peaches was unable to be present for the Concours at the CC. After competing in the other CC competitions your car was very missed . It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife at the event. Best wishes at the Euro Rally, better crack the whip and get the Coventry West Boys whipping "Peaches" into a cream pie for the event.
Sincerely, Art Dickenson.
