I have a 1998 XJR (love it!) however I have noticed over the past few weeks that the heated seat had a hot spot under my right thigh. This morning on the way to the gym, (yes it is still cold and foggy this time of year on the central coast of Ca at 4:00 Am.) the seat did not get warm at all. How big or expensive a job is it to have the seat repaired? The car has 43k on it and is in absolute pristine order and I would like to keep it that way. Is this something only a dealer can fix? Thank you all in advance for any advise you can share.
