Thanks to the other recent "History of" post, I went to xkedata.com and found my Dad's entry of his first E:

And by the way, I'm looking at the original invoice and it is amusing to look at compared to all the paperwork you get when buying a car today. Just a simple 9.25" x 7.75" piece of paper.
