Yes my friends, I said good bye to my 99 XJ8 yesterday. Someone made me an offer that I couldn't pass up. I had thrown enough money at her (throttle body, 4 wheel sensors, hours of cleaning this and checking that and other things that I can't even remember) trying to fix the " Starbility Cotrol" issue without any resolve. However I'm keeping my eyes open to a XK8 or maybe even a E-type but for now I'll have to say "so long" to you all and thank you for your input helping me track this issue down.

Must have been a tough day for you, parting with the XJ8. Hope you don't miss it too much. I think an XKE will make it all better. I just bought a 99 XJR a few months ago. It's in great shape and haven't had any problems with it thus far, except for a ticket or two (that Supercharged V8 is difficult to stay out of). Hopefully you will find yourself a replacement soon, before the withdrawls set in. And maybe we could stay in contact regarding the inevitable maintanence issues I face in the future. Like constant and varying warning lights that almost always reset themselves when I turn the car off. Best of luck finding a sweet XKE! My favorite car in life!
