I'm looking to restore the interior of my '66 E Type to it's original suede green. Does anyone have a recommendation as to which supplier to buy the kit from?
Thanks

Re.: interior kits
I am about to start the restoration of the interior of a 1973 XKE Roadster. Can anyone tell me the color of leather and carpet. I intend to change from black to a tan.

Charlie I am with you. The word "complete" varies from vendor to vendor. SNG is straight up but I just took over two XK150 restorations with "complete" kits and they were anything but. Thought some of it was possibly lost--nope--extra!

Ron,
i bought a complete kit for my 68 OTS from SNG Barratt two years ago and was very pleased with the quality and price. Make sure and have all the vendors give you a list of what is being supplied, so you can compare. Even though some people said a "complete" kit; some had more parts, etc. than others. It seemed to me that the SNG Barratt kit included the most "stuff" compared to others; at the time.
Rob,
Obviously your choice as to how you think the color "Biscuit", which is what I would install, matches the exterior color of your car. Black goes with anything. But in 42 years of my 61 roadster ownership you can't imagine the thousands of times I have wished my interior was "not black". In the summer with the top down it is like sitting in a frying pan. And if you have a black top for a little shade, with windows down , the top and the especially the bows, get so heat saturated they are almost untouchable. In other words, anything you can do to install lighter colors, summer sun driving will be more enjoyable. I show my car in class S3 so I can modify to my hearts content!
