Hello folks.. I've learned 2 things yesterday about jags; 1) it's the best ride i've had the pleasure to drive and; 2) I don't have an owner's manual. This means that I don't have a clue as to what the little orange light to the left of the instrument cluster that looks like a circle with an X through it means. Also.. I need leads on technical guys who know anything about the stereo systems and an official factory shop manual.
Thanks in advance,
mike

Mike,
The indicator with the X is the Bulb Failure Warning Lamp which is on for 15 - 30 seconds with the master lighting switch in any position other than off. If the lamp fails to go out, there is a fault bulb in one of the following circuits - front parking lamp, tail and number plate lamps.
With the master switch in the off position, the stop lamp circuit can be checked. Switch on the ignition (position 2), apply the handbrake and press the footbrake pedal. The bulb failure warning lamp should glow. If not, there is a failure in the stop light circuit.
