Knock Sensor #1 and #2 comes up on the comp. and manufacturer specific codes p1111 and P1230. Couldn't find those in the book.
Thanks,

Knock Sensors? restricted performance on
No overheating. I did wash and wax it right before I had this problem. Never had a temp. problem. The 'restricted mode' went away. It's driving fine. Check Engine is on still. I'm gonna replace the sensors as soon as I can.
Thanks

Knock Sensors? restricted performance on
Has the engine been overheated or washed lately?? Overheating or washing a hot engine can damage the knock sensors. If they have been removed and overtightened they can be destroyed as well.
Information is king!

Knock Sensors? restricted performance on
Need a little more info Miles. P1111 just means all the component monitors have successfully run since the last code clear, and P1230 is a fuel pump relay fault. Could be a real failure, or can be set if the fuel pump relay [in the boot fuse box] is pulled out while the key is on.
Knock sensors??? Where does that show up??
Regards,
Miles I would not replace the sensors--have the codes cleared and drive on--if you do get a new code then you know of an issue. Sounds like he Kitty did not like sitting in the driveway! Good luck.
