It's funny you both say that. My car was Bill Burnett Senior's car for the last 30+ years. I bought the car from Bill Jr (Jeffs older bro) after Bill Sr passed away a couple years ago. I reached out to Jeff but never heard back so got the impression he wasn't interested. It really comes down to hourly rates. Most of the shops on the peninsula and in SF are getting 140-200 per hour and it just adds up. With the rents they pay, it has too. I'm not looking to get anything on the cheap but I don't want to drop 20-25k into a simple driver rebuild. If that makes sense....
