I have finally moved to WPB from Houston and arrived today. The jag performed like a star and got me here in about 16 hrs at 80 mph the whole way without as much as a sputter.
Some time ago I asked for a trusted mechanic in this area and I got a name from someone with a reccommendation not to far from here. I want to get down to see him get all the fluids flushed and let him get to know the car. I can't find the name, so I ask that whoever gave me the information originally give it to me again.
She is in pristine condition and loves to be pampered. I look forward to showing her off and meeting those of you in the area.
Thanks again for the information on the mechanic.

Thierry ... his sister Natalie handles the office. It's only him and her husband working on the cars so you know the work will be done right the first time around :-)
I did a rally in texas a few years ago, with the XKR, and couldn't believe how friendly the drivers were there (in the hill country off san antonio). coming back to miami was a shocker.

welcome to south Florida... be prepared to deal with the worst drivers in the country :-)
I'd recommend Jaguar Doctor, in Boca.... 561 362 7464. he does a lot of XJS and knows the V12 inside out (the 6cyl too obviously). it's not too far from WP, at least much closer than it is for me from Miami but he's worth the drive... been using him for 6 years now, never a problem, mis diagnostic or sticker shock... I 've often driven the e-type on 1000 miles trip or more (2500 miles non stop is my current record :-) ) never missed a beat.
and make sure you join SFJC... :-) www.sfjc.org

Yeah, I thought the drivers in Texas were bad. This is a whole new experience. My wife says it is awful parking also vis-a-vis dings. Great!
