I heard many things about keislers manual transmission... but i can't seems to find any information on XJ6... it says they have them...
but i want to hear from people who have done them with their own car...
is there anyone who did it? and can u tell me about it?

oh, ok. there's something about those cars, right ? well, why don't you send an e-mail to keisler and ask them for the installation instructions? or take your car to their shop and let them do it, since they have probably
done a few already, they must have all the bugs resolved by now.

you mean you haven't sold that '81 yet ? I thought you had an offer for 1 grand ? it's a money pit isn't it ?
Several yrs ago, I had a manual 5-speed put in my '86 XJ6. I can't remember if it came from Keisler or not, it was installed by John at Jaguar Svcs of Tulsa, and he did a fine job.
The improvement in performance is not large, but the feel of the car does change a lot. It is now much more like a fine GT car, it's still stone slow, due to the weight of the car, but it's much more enjoyable to drive. Cruise RPM drops significantly, and thus the noise level goes down too.
