Hi All, new Jaguar owner and member. I picked up a 87 Jag from the original owner and just love it. I hate to say it but the sweet woman actually broke down and cried when we made the deal. I have built a few American cars but this new to me. It is an 87 Van Dam Plas all original. Thats what got me. I have been a Jaguar fan since I was a kid and now I have my dream. Now don't get me wrong, I still love GTO's, Chevelle's and Camaros but I feel very special in my Jaguar any one can buy or build those cars but it take a special person to own a Jaguar. Hope to meet you all somday. Happy Jagging.

Hi Bill,
welcome to the world of Jaguar, I have been an oner for fifteen years. My first Jaguar was to be a weekend family special, once I attended my first show I felt I should fix the door dings................. I had the entire car painted............ I then started to slalom race the car in local Jaguar and other car club events..............I then modified the car to make it faster.............. since then we have shown and raced up and down the West Coast, from Vancouver BC, and as far South as California Speedway. The car has been good, only destroying the factory heater valve, and as of late burning up lots of race tyres. My son and I now attend events together as he just got his driver licence this year. There are wonderfull people at car events, especially if they also have a Jaguar, and a love and admiration of the marque created by Sir William many years ago.
Best wishes with your new Jag,
Art Dickenson.
