I need to replace the well used seat covers on my 1990 XJS convertible and I have found a couple of resources ranging from $250 to $750, but all are just the seat covers. Nothing for the headrests or seat back.
Any ideas?

Mine are still holding up beautifully and should for many years to come. They feel great! give AutoBerry a call. They may be able to do the contrast stitching. 877.767.1300 or email through ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJS-1989-1996-Leather-replacement-Seat-Co... See the photos above for the ones of mine before they were installed. The photo below was taken today. My trim code is AFW.

OK, I'll try again. The file was a tiny bit too big. It is hard to hit 200K. I had to crop a bit more off.

If the ones on eBay for $750 are from AutoBerry, they are Excellent and I helped their 100% feedback. I bought them about a year ago. They are cut from the exact pattern that the factory originals. Correct stitching and all. My set was for my '92 convertible in barley. The attached photo shows the back side. I can't be more pleased with how they look feel and smell. It makes the car seem new again. Without the tools for stretching them onto the seats, after removing them from the car, I had to have a local upholstery shop put them on. $150 for that and then I reinstalled them.

Well, the $750 set on eBay looks pretty good with 100% positive feedback. I have a local shop that can put them on. Best so far.

I had a similar problem with my 1992 convertible , I eventually found a car upholstery guy . Who re-covered both seats , from scratch. it was about $1500 , but I considered it well worth it , because now my seats look "factory new".
Leather looks good BUT so does a nice wool, i have had many of my cars done in original leather for the headrests & side cushings and cloth for the centres, no freezing or burnt butts, regardless of the weather.
