Hi
Is there ANY way to get a free example of a owners or repair's MANUAL?
The thing is that I'm trying to help a friend who has no English knowledge what so ever. He has bought a XJR-S (XJS that has been drilled to 6,0 liters at TWR) from -90. He knowes nothing about engines and I and my husband are going to help - though, our car type is more like Saab 900 =O)
I have been looking and looking for a manual, without succeeding.

Owner or repair manual
http://www.jagbits.com carries all the manuals on CDROM. so you should be able to order what you need there for a hundred bucks or so perhaps in the language your friend needs for the long term greater good.
I will caution that buying a twenty year old car that's been modified from it's factory configuration for high performance is buying a complex project that is going to require regular attention and maintenance. That either comes with a high price tag for paying other people to maintain the car or it comes with the TLC of an enthusiast. But the work is not optional even on a well maintained car.

Owner or repair manual
Henrietta Jaguar issued owners manuals in English, French, German, French (Canadian) Italian and possibly others. JCNA can help you secure one perhaps but unless a club member wishes to donate one to you free will be tough! Have you placed a classified ad for what you want. Remember to include the year of the car and what market it was sold in--it will matter. You will also need to find out the extent and specs. of the work TWR undertook on the car. best of Luck.
