I just bought a 2005 XK8 and the left headlight washer is not working properly. One of the nozzles is missing and kit sprays water straight up into the air. How do you remove the spray assembly. I assume you need to remove the headlight but I have no experience with the XK8 and would appreciate some help. I have a replacement sprayer assembly but don't have a clue as to how to install it or for that matter remove the old one.
Sure would appreciate some help

Question regarding replacing the left headlight washer
Well my friends, using the instruction Steven offered and just some basics mechanics I was able to remove the sprayer as well as install the replacement used one I received from Coventry West in just under 3 hours start to finish. It works great and I would say it was a piece of cake to fix. Thanks Steve for the help. To provide extra working area I removed the front wheel which made access to the fasteners a piece of cake.
The job took longer because the inner wheel well plastic support was broken and I felt it prudent to make the repair now rather than later.
Regards,
Dick

XK8 Headlight Washer Replacement procedure
I am about to perform the headlight washer nozzle replacement operation on our 2003 XK8. I don't see the link to the procedure referenced in the thread. Could someone please provide that link?
Thanks!
Good job, Dick!
Information is everything, huh?? :-)
