Radio operates, but security code must be re-entered each time it is turned on. Any suggestions or places for repair?

Radio--XJSC--1987
this radio may have a memory fuse that is blown, and when you turn off the car it looses its memory. , usually a small amperage fuse.
I agree with Art.
If the pushbuttons for station setting don't hold their memory either that would likely confirm that the constant "memory" voltage supply is missing
The fuses for the radio are in the console near the gear shift. You'll probably have to remove the woodgrain panel to reach them but soemtimes you can find them by rooting around with your hand...if you can get it under the lower edge of the console.
