I've had my XJS in the garage for the winter and tried to jump start it today. It had a dead battery. You could clearly hear the starter turning, but the engine never even hinted at wanting to turn over. Can anyone give me advice on how to get it started? Could a line be clogged. If so, how would I fix it?

Re.: 1995 XJS won't start
I agree you should get a new battery. I have had this problem in the past. I also store the car all winter, but now I go in and start her up occasionally. There are so many electronics in the 1995 XJS that it drains the battery even in storage. The car needs to be run during the winter to charge the battery or hook it to a trickle charger. Good luck

First I would replace the dead battery. Next, What size engine do you have?
Thanks, Brian and Brenda. I replaced the battery and it started right up.
