Thanks to everyone for their replies to my sticky gas pedal problem. I have ordered all the rubber mounting parts. Special thanks to Chris for his detailed reply, which leads me to ask some questions about replacing the exhaust system. (1) What is the best way to get the nuts off of the exhaust manifold studs? (2) Should I replace the studs or leave well enough alone? (3) What is the best way to remove the studs?
The new front engine mounts are in, and as all of you predicted the gas pedal no longer sticks.

Curtis if all is as it came from the factory the nuts are brass and will come off without hurting the studs. If you need to replace the studs the best way is to remove the manifold and heat the stud area (red) and renove the old stud--it will burn the enamel I am afraid. George Camp
