I'm struggling to trace history of Previous owners in the US
. XKE data was my first try; unfortunately the data keyed-in for my car were wrong; I had them modified by then
. luckily enough, I'v got the owner's manual with first owner in Los Angeles (1970); I sent a letter to this address but no answer; I expect to get a "Return to sender" soon; car was delivered by Brentwood Motors in Santa Monica;
. I also got last owner's name (company owned) in Lakewood CA (2006); company still exists , I sent a mail and a letter, to no avail so far
. I sent a letter to the DMV in Sacramento; no answer
any other ideas ? can CarFax be of any help ?
I didn't try to get a Jag Heritage certificate yet, as I think they would'nt know more than the first dealer to which it was sent to
I also have the previous Californian plate 047CAA
