I may have found the e-tpye that I owned 35 years ago and that is again for sales. It is a real restoration project that I don't want to embark upon if I can't determine it was mine. I don't have any records of its VIN, but mine was a 1967 FHC that was one of the last produced. It had toggle switches, 3 carbs and knock-offs, but it did not have covered headlights. This car is located only a few miles from where I lived at the time and the present owner has had it for 28 years, but doesn't know it's history other than the preceding owner who has passed away. I tried the State DMV to see if they had any history, but no records go back 35 years. The one thing it does not have that I thought mine had was two electric fans. This doesn't seem like something I would forget, but does anyone know if any 1967 Series 1 like mine had two electric fans rather than one. I know the original owner of mine, (I was the second owner)but I can't get any info out of Jaguar Heritage Trust to see if this car was sold in New Jersey because I don't own the car now. No VIN history site goes back to 1969-1971 when I owned the car. Any help would be appreciated.

Jim the car in 1967 would have had a single fan the dual system weas introduced in early 1968. it is possible that someone could have fitted the later assy! Jaguar affectionado and etc.
