I am trying to I.D. a manual steering rack. I have been told it may be a E-type or xj6 rack. It has raised letters in the gear box that reads
BREV____ITAL with N601 under the BREV and 488 under the ITAL. I tried to send a picture but I can not get it to work. I have pictures via my E-mail.
If anyone can help, I would be one happy camper. I want to get this unit rebuilt, but it is hard to do with out knowing for sure what it is. The overall lenght of the rack case is abt 14 1/4"long and is connected to the steering shaft with a swaged on cable between rack and steering shaft
