I have a 73 XKE 2+2 that I show in the driven class. Original tires were Dunlop ER70VR15 (Sport Radial). JCNA acceptable replacements are P205/70VR15 (Appendix B). Chapter VI 3.) Tire Speed Ratings: Tires on Champion Division cars less than 15 years old must have original speed ratings or speed ratings equal to or superior to the original. (See
Appendix B)
Will I lose any points if I put Michelin P205/70R15 with a speed rating of T? My car is older than 15 years. Just wondering.

Tires-Driven Class
Ed. JCNA Rule Book, Chapter 2, Page 5: In Driving Division: "Any type or profile tires, of original inside diameter, are acceptable. Road tires must be of matching size, type and make/brand."
Thanks Pat, I was trying to get an idea if this has been a problem and what type of tires, size, speed ratings, etc others are using and obviously not being penalized.
