Trying to locate formerly owned Series I XKE Roadster

I am trying locate a 1964 XKE Roadster, VIN No. 880288, original engine No. RA3836-9. Last word I had was that Bill Welch of Steubenville, Ohio had repainted the car white and sold it, probably late 1990's or around 2000. Bill would not dasclose the purchaser, I assume, because apparently the engine gave up shortly after the purchaser took posession of the car, and had filed suit against him. The car is probably in the Ohio, Pennsylvania area. It is not listed in the Jaguar registrar, so it is probably not owned by a JCNA member.

I am interested in repurchasing the car as I had owned it for 21 years prior to selling it to Bill in late 1989. He had the car picked up from me in Texas early 1990. The car at that time was painted a copper color and had a black interior with a black top.
