On my 2003 XJR, occasionally as of late, the turn signal stops making the clicking noise while they blink. The turn signals work fine, inside and out, bulbs are fine, and there is no speed change. Sometimes they make the clicking noise and sometimes they don't. Usually a bad turn signal module affects both the flashing and the noise. Any suggestions on what to check?

Turn indicator not making noise
Perhaps The Crocodile died?
My wife has maintained from the beginning that the x308 XJR turn signal sound is precisely that of ... Tick-Tock the Crocodile (better known as just The Crocodile), a character from Peter Pan. The croc is considered somewhat of a good guy since all that he really wants to eat is Neverland's most dangerous threat, Captain Hook.
The turn signals do make a unique noise. Maybe since mine is intermittent, the crocodile is just napping!
