I'm looking for feedback towards the X-type, (sorry, I read forum rules) as a perspective buyer.

I'd like to know what to look out for before purchasing the vehicle (common problems and issues, etc), and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction whereabout I can gather this information.

go to the "Current Production" forum, in the Forum List section and read all the posts/threads about the X type, and ask your own. Also join other forums, search at google.com for "Jaguar forum" (less the quotes).
