Bruce:
To get an idea of how many of a particular model Jaguar are being shown at Concours in North America, one would have to go to the concours standings on this web site and search each clubs Concours Report and tabulate the data. A couple if hours work at least. Perhaps the National Concours Chair, Bill Streitenberger, has this info in his data base, you may also want to ask the webmaster, Pascal Gademer.

Re.: XJ12C
Bruce,
There is really no way of learning how many of these cars actually survive, as there is no form of clearing house to tabulate this data. Additionally, even if one could survey all the state DMVs for say, XJ12Cs, one would only know how many are licensed.
After many years in the collector car hobby, I have learned to take with a grain of salt anyone's claim that "X number survive." "Only one known" or "one of 3 known" kaybe, but that's about it.

I don't know the exact numbers Bruce, but I hope to add one to the list this year. My 76 just came out of the paint shop and I'm putting it back together now. It's an XJ12L but it's the same class. I have noticed that there don't seem to be very many cars at all in C11.
