I WOULD LIKE TO PAINT THE CYLINDER HEAD AREA, HIGH HEAT GOLD TO MATCH ORIGINAL, ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO COLOR MATCH & TYPE OF PAINT. I ALSO SANDBLASTED THE HEAD! IS THERE A HIGH HEAT CLEAR TO FILL IN THE PORES TO KEEP OUT THE DIRT OR JUST LEAVE IT ALONE?
THANKS

Re.: XKE CYLINDER HEAD GOLD
The color is called "Olds Gold" and it is part of the POR Engine Enamel line. Scroll down on this link and find the color submenu:

Re.: XKE CYLINDER HEAD GOLD
I used the POR-15 paint product, but I can't find the gold color on their site. Have sent them an e-mail asking if they still carry it. I'll post a link if I can find it.
I do not know of a high-heat clear that won't turn dark with heat. Besides, you should use the gold color; a few coats will do the trick.

Patrick,
Thanks for the info on the Olds Gold. It was listed on Pour 15 site.
I have a local automotive paint store that stocks Pour 15 products so I'm sure they can order it
Thanks
